White Sangria Recipe

White Sangria, or “Sangría Blanca” in Spain, is a simple pitcher drink made with white wine, fresh fruit, and sherry. A lighter version of Red Wine Sangria. 

Ingredient

– 2 peaches, thinly sliced – 2 lemons, scrubbed and sliced in ¼-inch round – ½ cup green grapes, halved – ½ cup fino sherry – 1 (750ml) bottle Spanish white wine, like Albariño or Garnacha Blanca – ¼ cup simple syrup or to taste, optional – Sliced fruits and mint, for garnish

Direction

Put the peaches, lemons, and grapes at the bottom of a big jug. Fine sherry and white wine should be poured over the fruit. Stir.

The dish should be placed in the refrigerator and let to rest for at least four hours, or overnight.

Stir in some simple syrup to taste (if you are using it) when you are ready to serve the dish.
