Simple Lemon Muffins Recipe 

Pineapple dump cake is rich, delicious, and easy. This simple pineapple cobbler requires yellow cake mix, crushed pineapple, light brown sugar, and butter.  

– 2 20 oz. cans crushed pineapple – 1 tsp vanilla extract – ½ cup light brown sugar, divided – 1 15.25 oz. boxed yellow cake mix – ½ cup cold unsalted butter – ½ cup melted butter



Heat the oven to 350 F. Lightly grease a 9x9, 11x7, or 9x13 baking dish with a tablespoon of butter.  


Spread canned crushed pineapple evenly in the oiled baking dish. Mix in vanilla extract thoroughly.   


Put half the light brown sugar on top. Save half for the top. Spread yellow cake mix evenly over pineapple-brown sugar filling.   


Cover cake mix with cold butter slices evenly. Cover as much cake mix as possible.  


Melt butter and pour it between the butter slices on the cake. Add the remaining light brown sugar.  


Bake the pineapple dump cake for 45–60 minutes until the top is golden brown and the pineapple filling is bubbling around the dish.   


After 30 minutes, spoon pineapple dump cake into a bowl, top with ice cream or whipped cream, and enjoy!
