Oven Roasted Sweet Potatoes With Honey Tahini And Sesame Seeds Recipe

Holiday and weeknight meals are excellent with oven-roasted sweet potatoes. Roast sweet potatoes with salt and olive oil, then add nutty, slightly sweet honey tahini and toasted sesame seeds. 

Ingredient

– Extra-virgin olive oil – 3 medium sweet potatoes, scrubbed, dried, and cut into – Kosher salt – ½ cup tahini, well stirred – ¼ cup honey or maple syrup – ¼ cup sesame seed

Direction

Preheat oven to 350°F.To avoid browning, pour enough orange juice to a dish of chopped apples to coat.

Get a big bowl and use a sieve to mix the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and baking soda. Put aside for now

In a stand mixer with a whisk, combine sugar and extra virgin olive oil. Mix low for 2 minutes until well-combined.

Add the eggs one at a time while the mixer is still running. Keep mixing for another two minutes or until the mixture gets bigger (it should get thicker but still runny).

Make a well in the flour mixture in the big bowl. Pour the sugar-olive oil mixture into the well. The batter will be thick, so whisk it with a wooden spoon until barely combined.
