Oat Flour Brownies  Recipe

The banana muffins are made with oat flour and are made in one bowl and left to sit overnight. 

– 170g or ¾ cup unsalted butter cold is fine – 250g or 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar – 85g or ¾ cup dutch process cocoa – 1 tsp fine sea salt – 1 tsp pure vanilla extract – 1 egg plus 1 yolk – 90g or ¾ cup oat flour – 2 tablespoons milk – 80g or ½ cup finely chopped chocolate

Using parchment paper on both sides, line a pan that is eight squares in size. The butter should be heated in the microwave until it is almost completely melted, but not completely

STEP  1 .

After adding the sugar, place the mixture back into the microwave for thirty seconds while the power is set to one hundred percent

STEP 2.

Mix yogurt and lemon juice in a small bowl. Add flour and leavening to bowl and beat on low. When dry are halfway mixed, add lemon juice and yogurt.

STEP 3.

Mix the sugar and butter together thoroughly using a whisk. Pour in the cocoa and mix it thoroughly.

STEP 4.

A thorough whisking is required before adding the egg, yolk, vanilla, and salt. Combine the flour and milk by stirring them together.

STEP 5.

The chopped chocolate should be folded in, and the cutting board should be scraped in order to incorporate all of the small pieces of chocolate.

STEP 6.

Place the batter in the pan that has been prepared, and allow it to rest at room temperature for approximately twenty to thirty minutes. The oven should be preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

STEP 7.

For approximately thirty minutes, bake brownies until a cake tester inserted into the center of the brownies produces a thick batter
