Nutella Cake Recipe

The centre of this Nutella cake is filled with a gooey Nutella. It consists of three layers of chocolate cake, a filling made of Nutella, and a frosting made of Nutella.

Ingredient

– 2 ¼ cups All-purpose flour – ¼ cup Cornstarch – 1 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder – 2 teaspoon Baking powder – 1 teaspoon Baking soda – 1 teaspoon Salt – 1 cup Oil canola or vegetable oil – 1 ¾ cup White granulated sugar – 1 teaspoon Pure vanilla extract – 4 Large eggs room temperature – 1 cup Buttermilk room temperature – 1 cup Hot water – ⅔ cup Nutella for the filling – 2 ½ cups Unsalted butter room temperature – ¾ cup Nutella – 2 cups Powdered sugar sifted – ¾ cup Unsweetened cocoa powder sifted – ¼ teaspoon Salt – 1 teaspoon Pure vanilla extract – ¾ cup Nutella

Pre-heat the oven to 350℉. Spray three 8-inch cake pans with nonstick baking spray. Line bottoms with parchment circles and spray again.Sift flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large basin. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, combine oil, sugar, vanilla, eggs, and buttermilk. Smoothly mix. Mix hot water into batter slowly.

Whisk the wet and dry components together. Stir to eliminate flour lumps. The batter will be liquid.

Pour batter into three cake pans. Bake 23–26 minutes. Bake until toothpick comes out clean.Leave the heated cake in the pans for 10 minutes. Transfer to a cooling rack. Cool thoroughly before decorating.

Sift sugar and cocoa powder in a large basin. Set aside.Beat butter for 3 minutes on high with a mixer. Use a rubber spatula to scrape basin. Mix Nutella in.

Add half the powdered sugar and blend on low. Mix remaining powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in vanilla and salt quickly until creamy.Start before you need it. Add Nutella to a bowl. Microwave 30 seconds.

Melt the ⅔ cup of Nutella in the microwave.Put the first cake layer down. Apply ¾ cup of frosting on the cake layer. Border the cake with piping.

Melt half the Nutella and pour over filling. Cake layer 2: repeat step two. Insert the last cake layer bottom-up.Lightly ice the cake and freeze for 15 minutes.

This cake was semi-nakedly adorned.Pour half the Nutella drop over the cake and push it down the edges with an offset spatula. Put the remaining Nutella on the cake. Freeze for 10 minutes to set.Decorate cake top.
