ITALIAN BRIOCHE BREAD RECIPE (BRIOCHE COL TUPPO)

Italian Brioche, known as "Brioche col Tuppo" is a classic Italian bread roll recipe. This soft and delicious bread is simple to put together and makes the most amazing brioche bun!

Ingredient

– 500g all-purpose flour – 100g sugar – 10g active dry yeast – 200ml milk – 3 egg – 100g butter, softened – A pinch of salt – Egg wash (1 egg beaten with a splash of milk)

Direction

In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and yeast.

Warm milk slightly and beat in eggs, then add to the flour mixture.

Mix until dough forms, then add softened butter and salt.

Knead until smooth and elastic, then cover and let rise until doubled in size.

Punch down dough, shape into balls or desired forms.

Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, cover, and let rise again.
