Ground Beef Lettuce Wraps

Low-carb, gluten-free Ground Beef Lettuce Wraps with saucy browned ground beef, crispy lettuce, and fresh veggies are delicious and nutritious. 

– 1 Mini romaine lettuce  – 1 pound lean ground beef  – 1 tablespoon tomato sauce  – ½ of medium yellow onion  – ½ teaspoon ground cumin – ½ teaspoon paprika  – ½ teaspoon garlic powder – ½ teaspoon cayenne – 1 teaspoon soy sauce  – Salt and pepper to taste – Vegetable oil for cooking



Once vegetable oil is warm, cook onion until translucent and soft in a medium pan. Add salt and pepper to ground beef.

Brown beef without pinking. If not lean beef, drain. Spices, tomato sauce, soy sauce follow. Check seasoning and add more.

Remove from heat after stirring for a few minutes. Start wrap assembly at your station.

Add red cabbage and carrot to 8 lettuce leaves with beef filling. With hot sauce, these wraps are delicious.
