Easy Churro Chips Recipe 

It's easy to make a sweet treat called cinnamon and sugar churro chips. You only need a few things and about 5 minutes. You can use bread or pita to make them.

Ingredient

– 2 Pita bread pockets or tortillas or another thin flatbread of your choice – Extra virgin olive oil – ¼ cup granulated white sugar, more to your liking – 2 to 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon, more to your liking

With a sharp knife, break your pita bread in half from the seam on a chopping board, creating two layers. Splitting tortillas or single-ply flatbread is unnecessary.

Each pita or tortilla should be cut into 8 pieces with a sharp knife or cooking shears.

Cook ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers. Add pita or tortilla triangles in stages to avoid crowding the pan.

Fry the chips until one side is medium brown and the other side is crispy and golden brown, finishing in less than a minute.

Line a big plate with paper towels. Place the cooked chips on the dish and drain them quickly over paper towels.
