– 1½ cups all purpose flour – ¼ cup dutch process cocoa powder – 1 tsp baking powder – ½ tsp baking soda – ¼ teaspoon salt – 1 cup milk – ¾ cup granulated sugar – 1 large egg  – ¼ cup greek yogurt – 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted – 2 tsp vanilla extract – ¾ cups semi sweet chocolate chip – 3 tbsp heavy cream – 1 tbsp unsalted butter – 2 tbsp sprinkles or mini chocolate chip

Heat the oven to 350 F. Grease a 6-ct. doughnut pan. Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.

Add melted butter, sugar, egg, yoghurt, milk, and vanilla essence to another large bowl. Whisk well to mix.

Mix dry ingredients with wet. Whisk until smooth and mixed. Pipe chocolate doughnut batter into each doughnut pan cavity.

Using a piping bag or gallon zip lock bag with the tip cut off is easiest. Baking the doughnuts takes 8-10 minutes.

When lightly pressed, doughnut tops spring back, indicating doneness. After 5 minutes, gently remove the doughnuts from the pan to cool on a rack.

Cool the doughnuts and create the chocolate glaze. Combine chocolate chips, heavy cream, and cubed butter in a microwave-safe bowl.

Mostly mix. Heat the bowl again in the microwave for 15-20 seconds. Mix thoroughly and gloss.

Keep stirring in the same direction until the glaze is smooth, even if the mixture seems gritty or curdled.

Dip cooled chocolate cake doughnuts in chocolate glaze. Sprinkle sprinkles or small chocolate chips on top.

Give the chocolate doughnuts with chocolate glaze around half an hour to set.
